If you are unsure which statistical methods to use in your research, you can make use of the built-in Statistical Advisor in the TIBCO Statistica program. It is an electronic manual that is part of the TIBCO Statistica application.
When you choose the Statistical Advisor item from the File/Help/Support menu (Menu/File/Help/Statistical Advisor), Statistica asks about the nature of the problem and the type of data. Click the appropriate links to answer the questions. Then the module offers the statistical procedures that best match the given problem, and tells you where to find them in the tool.
